UNEARTHED
ARCTIC
Each detail takes it's essence from the Arctic's being - the high low glaciers illustrated in the shirt's hem, the transparency of the ice showcased in the buttons, and the Aurora Borealis or the Northern Lights shown in the contrasting sleeve trim. This subtle shirt comes with a mandarin collar, stitch line details along the front panelling and a deep blue hand stitch at the back yoke.
MASAI
The word 'Mara' means 'spotted' refering to the many flat-topped trees, shrubs and bushes in the landscape, which is mirrored through the spot embroideries done on the placket, pocket and sleeve tab. The colorful collar trim exhibits the various flora and fauna in the Masai. The color of the Masai/ the king of the Savannah itself is highlighted in the gradient of the buttons used.
FUJI
The silhouette of the Fuji mountains is illustrated on the sleeve cuffs and pocket edges; the contrast of the usually blue mountain range covered in snow being replaced with the brilliant red is shown in the placket, collar and gusset detailing. The shape of the collar itself is designed to imitate the mountain's form.
CONGO
The Congo is known for its extremely tall trees and its lush, thick greenery. Our shirt embraces the rawness of the forest and translates the shape of the leaves through the shape of the collar, the pillar-like trees through the paneled strips at the back and the varieties of greens found in the forest through the hand-done embroidery.
KUTCH
Our Kutch shirt gets its name from the infamous Rann of Kutch situated in the Thar Desert in Gujarat. The massive expanse of cracked earth that promises to take anyone's breath away serves as stunning inspiration for the garment, which mainly trickles down in the barren brown of the shirt. The cracks in the Kutch is expressed in the back yoke and the sand hills of the land are mimicked by the button flaps and gussets on the shirt.
